Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of Foliodesk, operated by Ashlytic Labs LLP (Flat 104, Nisargsundar Apartments, Kothrud, Pune – 411038, Maharashtra, India). By using Foliodesk you agree to these Terms.

1. The service

Foliodesk lets you upload documents, share them via secure links with access controls (email verification, passwords, expiry, download control), view page-by-page engagement analytics, and use in-browser PDF tools.

2. Accounts

You are responsible for your account credentials and for activity under your account. You must provide accurate information and be at least 16 years old (or the age of digital consent in your jurisdiction).

3. Your content

You retain all ownership of the documents you upload. You grant us a limited license to host, process, and transmit your content solely to provide the service (e.g. storing the file, rendering it to viewers, generating analytics). You are solely responsible for the content you upload and share, and you represent that you have the rights to do so.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to use Foliodesk to:

• upload or share unlawful, infringing, or malicious content;
• violate any third party's intellectual-property or privacy rights;
• distribute malware, or attempt to breach, probe, or disrupt the service;
• abuse the service (e.g. brute-forcing links, scraping, or evading limits);
• share content you are not authorized to share.

5. Copyright & takedown

We respect intellectual-property rights. If you believe content shared via Foliodesk infringes your rights, contact legal@foliodesk.app with details and we will act on valid notices, which may include removing content and terminating repeat-infringer accounts.

6. Plans & payment

Foliodesk offers free and (where available) paid plans. Paid plan terms, pricing, and limits are shown at checkout. Taxes may apply. Billing, renewals, cancellation, and refunds are governed by our Refund & Cancellation Policy.

7. Termination

You may stop using the service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these Terms or to comply with law. On termination, your right to use the service ends and we may delete your content after a reasonable period.

8. Disclaimer

The service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, to the maximum extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Ashlytic Labs LLP will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising from your use of the service. Our aggregate liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim (or, for free use, INR 1,000).

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of Pune, Maharashtra, India have exclusive jurisdiction.

11. Changes

We may update these Terms; material changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date above. Continued use constitutes acceptance.
